Lava stories: Hawaii County Prosecutor, Hawaii County Civil Defense, and Susie Osborne–head of school for Kua O Ka La Public Charter School

The lava flow in the East Rift Zone of Kilauea Volcano, on the Big Island of Hawaii in the Puna District at the southeast part of the island, continues.  We talk with Mitch Roth about some legal issues, with Hawaii County Civil Defense Administrator Talmadge Magno, and with Susie Osborne, the head of Kua O Ka La Public Charter School, which has lava now up against its campus.  We learn where the kids are, and about Susie’s personal challenge as her own home burned.  The photo is of lava in Green Lake on 6/2/18, courtesy USGS/HVO.
