We have a major election on August 13, 2016, with 13 candidates vying to be Hawaii County Mayor. If any candidate gets more than 50%, they will be elected; if not, the top two vote getters go on to the November 8 election. Harry Kim is one of four candidates we’re talking with individually. The others are Pete Hoffmann, Wally Lau, and Marlene Hapai (July 24).
